Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Start & Build's website at startandbuild.com (the "Site") and any services provided through the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Site or use our services.

Services

Start & Build provides educational content, courses, resources, and community access related to design, product development, and AI. Our services include:

• Live and on-demand courses
• Educational articles
• Downloadable resources and templates
• Community membership
• 1:1 coaching sessions
• Corporate training and workshops

User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Purchases and Payments

When you make a purchase, you agree to:

• Provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information
• Promptly update your account and payment information as needed
• Pay all charges at the prices in effect when incurred

All payments are processed securely through our payment providers. Prices are in USD unless otherwise stated.

Refund Policy

Courses: We offer a full refund if you're not satisfied after the first week of a live cohort course. For on-demand courses, refunds are available within 7 days of purchase if you haven't completed more than 25% of the content.

Digital Resources: Due to the nature of digital products, all sales of downloadable resources are final once the download link has been accessed.

Coaching: Coaching sessions may be rescheduled with 48 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice are non-refundable.

Intellectual Property

The Site and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Start & Build and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or exploit our content without express written permission.

License to Use Materials

Upon purchase of courses or resources, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the materials for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes. You may not share access credentials, redistribute materials, or use content for commercial training without explicit permission.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
• Share, sell, or distribute your account access
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site
• Interfere with or disrupt the Site or servers
• Collect or harvest user information without consent
• Post or transmit harmful, threatening, or objectionable content

Community Guidelines

Our community spaces (including Mighty Networks and course forums) are intended for constructive discussion and mutual support. We reserve the right to remove content and restrict access for users who violate community standards, including harassment, spam, or disruptive behavior.

Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Start & Build. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites.

Disclaimer

The Site and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Start & Build makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the Site's operation, accuracy, or availability. Educational outcomes depend on individual effort and are not guaranteed.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Start & Build, its directors, employees, partners, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or services.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Start & Build and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Site or violation of these Terms.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice on the Site. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
